**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

Reporting to the Health & Physical Education Learning Area leader, the Sport Co-ordinator, in addition to undertaking the study component of the traineeship, will provide support in the administration, operation and maintenance of the school’s sporting facilities, programs and classes.

Duty Areas

❖ Health, Physical Education and Sport Prep - 10
❖ Intra/Interschool Sport Year Prep-12
❖ Camps
❖ Lunchtime competitions
❖ After School training

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**

Required Skills and Experience
- Possess a strong interest in sports, sports instruction/coaching and sports management.
- Enjoy outdoor recreation activities
- Needs have experience participating in a club sport and have good understanding across a minimum of three sports
- Ability to prioritise workload and have strong organisational skills

Required Qualifications
- Must have a current Victorian Working with Children’s Check (WWCC)
- Police Check
- Driver’s License

**SALARY**

$26,000 - $36,000 plus 11% Superannuation
- National Training Wage Award
- Fully Funded Qualification

**MORE INFORMATION**
- People with tertiary qualifications need not apply. Current university applicants may have to defer their studies to be eligible for this traineeship.
- This position is best suited to a recent secondary school leaver.
