**Head of Finance **to join their Adelaide office, in a permanent Full-Time position, where you will be responsible for the management & implementation, of the finance functions.

**The Role**:
The
**Head of Finance **is responsible to providing strategic leadership for the organisation’s corporate and financial governance. This senior leadership role will identify and implement performance strategies that are aligned with the future growth direction of the organisation, whilst also offering stability.

You will provide high-quality financial and management reporting, analysis and commercial insight that will enable management to make accurate and informed decisions contributing to the achievement of the group annual business plans, profit targets and strategic objectives.

The position will ensure that all internal and external accountabilities relating to the organisation’s finances are met on a timely basis and to a high standard.

**Responsibilities**
- Day-to-day oversight of financial accounting, compliance and reporting policies and practices in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements;
- Management of the entire project life cycle finance;
- Complete statutory compliance requirements, along with financial and analytical support for the group;
- Develop, implement and monitor appropriate financial systems, procedures and internal controls to support the efficient and effective operation of the finance function;
- Responsible for the management of the company's financial resources, including cash flow, investments, and assets;
- Responsible for budgets, spending, reporting and financial accountability;
- Performing ad-hoc analysis pro-actively or as directed, to provide performance insights that aid growth and focus appropriate resource allocation;
- Preparation and lodgement of all legislative requirements for all group entities;
- Management of the preparation and lodgement of BAS, PAYG, FBT and related tax calculations;
- Develop strong and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effectiveness of communications and the resolution of issues.

**Skills and Experience**
- CA / CPA qualified, you are an emotionally intelligent finance executive with a track record of partnering with senior management to achieve profitable and sustainable growth.
- **Experience in manufacturing, engineering, construction or related industry, an asset.**:

- Experience in end-to-end project life cycle finance.
- You have superior commercial and strategic acumen that is balanced by your advanced understanding of reporting, risk, and compliance obligations.
- You have excellent Analytical and Business Intelligence skills, with experience in cost accounting, activity-based accounting, and inventory accounting.
- You have a solid understanding of financial systems and processes and a good grounding in PRONTO systems and knowledge
- You possess outstanding stakeholder management skills and adopt an innovative approach to process improvement and change management.
