We are looking for an enthusiastic Workshop Planner to join our team at Casula

**About the role**

WesTrac is currently seeking a Workshop Planner to join our talented team. Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, in this role as a Planner you will use proactive methods to obtain data, analysis and tracking to schedule and plan workload in line with resources and specified timeframes.

This key role is a critical position for maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders regarding job requirements, parts requirements, job and technician status, and seeking feedback.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support the Branch Manager and relevant Supervisors through scheduling and demand planning reports to ensure variations of work can be managed effectively
- Effective Work in Progress (WIP) management through turning WIP both in parts and service
- Customer communication and visibility to job completion through transparent scheduling
- Coordinate parts availability for planned repairs
- Liaise with workshop supervisors on backorders for planned jobs and discuss reschedules
- Drive continuous improvement to assist in the effective and efficient operation of the business

**Skills & Experience**
- Practical experience in mobile equipment maintenance planning and scheduling
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonal
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to analyse information and identify continuous improvement initiatives
- Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and conflicting priorities to achieve tight deadlines
- Demonstrated highly developed customer service skills
- Mechanical Trade Qualification and previous experience with maintenance management for heavy mobile equipment (Desirable)
