**The Role**:
In this 12 months role, reporting to the Procurement Services Manager the role of Sourcing Support Lead will provide procurement knowledge, customer service, advice and assistance to internal stakeholders and suppliers in the execution of Melbourne Water’s procurement processes. This role provides support across the key Melbourne Water procurement systems, with a focus on the source to contract system (Zycus).

In addition to managing and performing system administrator functions, the Sourcing Support Lead will also develop and maintain training materials relating to systems and processes, and deliver training to staff at all levels across the organisation. This will be done by
- Delivery of training both face to face and via telephone and Teams, in group settings and one to one as required.
- Advising business units in the use of source to contract systems and integration to procure to pay systems.
- Provide second level support for enquiries related to procurement process and systems using online service management tool.
- Aid and advise business staff in procurement policy and process.
- Supporting the development and maintenance of training materials for procurement processes and systems.

**Your Skills and Experience**:

- Strong ability to identify and manage a range of complex and often competing needs while finding innovative solutions to resolve stakeholder issues
- A ground in procurement with good working knowledge of Sourcing, Category and Contract management practices of a Victorian Government owned agency or similar enterprise
- A deep understanding and experience with using procurement systems such as Zycus, Vendor Panel or similar solutions
- Focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Effectively negotiates with stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes and implements complex strategies to achieve buy-in and support from key internal and external clients or stakeholders.
- Zycus administration knowledge is highly advantageous
