- Our client has successfully been operating for over 45 years here in Sydney and has worked hard to gain a reputation for **quality, safety and honesty within the construction industry.**

Projects include **Electrical substations, Local Government Authority (Council) buildings, Sporting infrastructure, Warehouses, Commercial projects and refurbishments.**
With a successful diverse project portfolio and strong workflow projections across a number of sectors, they are now seeking an accomplished HSEQ Coordinator to join their friendly, driven and energetic team
- **About the Role**:

- Report directly to HSEQ Manager
- Undertake safety, quality and environmental inspections across all project sites, company HQ and associated divisions. Inspecting and monitoring site set up procedures ensuing consistence as cross all project
- Assist staff, site teams and contractors across all sectors (including civil, commercial) in respect to compliance with relevant legislation, standards and contractual arrangements
- Supporting the HSEQ Manager to ensure the Safety Management System including policies, procedures manuals and practices are delivered
- Acting as a company representative on all matters relating to WHS
- Proactively assisting work teams in implementing and embedding their health and safety work plans
- Keep up to date with legislative changes, reviewing and improving policies and procedures as required
- Monitor compliance with organisational policies and procedures
- Provide Workplace Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality support and advice to the Senior Management Team and Staff.
- Provide support in Assurance and Audit role in the company
- Provide support in developing, reviewing and monitoring of the HSEQ Plan and objectives and targets.

**Ideally you will have**:

- Minimum Cert. IV in workplace safety
- Knowledge of the HSEQ processes and experience in a similar role
- Demonstrates an uncompromising commitment to health & safety
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to function independently in a busy office environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Related industry experience - Commercial and Civil Construction experience would be a definite asset
- Current Divers license
- National Construction General Induction Card (All States Recognised)
