Ignite is seeking an experienced HSEQ Coordinator to join their team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safety, quality, and environmental compliance across all project sites.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to make a significant contribution to various projects and enjoy a vibrant and dynamic work environment.

The HSEQ Coordinator will report directly to the HSEQ Manager and play a crucial role in ensuring safety, quality, and environmental compliance across all project sites. Key responsibilities include conducting safety, quality, and environmental inspections, assisting staff and contractors in complying with relevant legislation, and supporting the HSEQ Manager in delivering the Safety Management System.

Requirements:
  • A minimum Cert. IV in workplace safety or equivalent qualification;
  • Knowledge of HSEQ processes and previous experience in a similar role;
  • Demonstrated unwavering commitment to health and safety;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced office environment;
  • Strong problem-solving abilities;
  • Related industry experience, particularly in commercial and civil construction (highly desirable);
  • A current driver's license;
  • A National Construction General Induction Card (All States Recognized).
