- Mine Site Construction Services Pty Ltd is a leading Western Australian, privately owned civil and mining construction company with over 40 years of combined industry experience; specialising in mining services, civil engineering, earthmoving, infrastructure and quarrying services.**The Position**

The Mining Supervisor is responsible for providing hands on leadership and direction to the bulk earthworks operations team, ensuring safe and efficient operations at all times, including:

- Effective communication to team and broader team on site
- Ensure safety and risk mitigation systems are adhered to
- Identify efficiency and effectiveness of assets including people, plant and equipment
- Conduct regular inspections and daily interaction with teams
- Provide technical support and direction to the team
- Deliver accurate and timely data and reporting
- Promote a diverse, inclusive and dynamic work culture that promotes safety in all that we do.

**Requirements**:

- Cert IV Frontline Leadership Training
- Formal training in safety and health is considered an advantage
- Previous experience in a similar position and successful track record managing a productive and cohesive team
- Exposure to mining environment and preferably bulk commodity or mineral sands mining, preferred but not essential
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Well developed communication skills with the proven ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with blue and white collar stakeholders
- Proven ability to identify continuous improvement initiatives
