The Commonwealth Games - an international, multi-sport event involving athletes from the 72 member nations of the Commonwealth - is coming to Victoria in 2026.
Millions worldwide will watch the thriving regional centres of Geelong, Bendigo, Ballarat, Gippsland and Shepparton host a jam-packed schedule of 20 sports, nine para sports, the Games ceremonies and festival program that together will showcase the best of Regional Victoria.
The Victoria 2026 Commonwealth Games Organising Committee (Victoria 2026) will deliver the Games. Together between the State of Victoria, the Commonwealth Games Federation and Commonwealth Games Australia, it is tasked with organising a world-class event for athletes, spectators, locals and the Commonwealth of Nations.
About the Role
An exciting role to join our engagement team as a Manager, Regional Engagement and Coordination. Reporting to the Director, Engagement and Partnerships, you will be responsible for:

- Lead, support and advise on regional engagement to ensure engagement and involvement of regional stakeholders is represented across all components of delivering a regional games
- Develop and maintain partnerships across a variety of key internal and external stakeholders, enabling two-way dialogue between the OC, local and state government, commercial, community and sporting organisations
- Working with our partners, you will develop deep knowledge of ongoing Victoria 2026 Commonwealth Games operational and delivery issues and will use this knowledge to support decision-making on key executive committees and with delivery partners

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- Demonstrated project management and implementation experience, working with a broad range of stakeholders to support the delivery of major events and infrastructure
- Detailed understanding and an experience of engagement in regional communities as well as successfully navigating stakeholder complexity will be highly valued
- Demonstrated experience in preparing high quality, complex submissions, briefings and reports within tight timelines.
