We are responsible for delivering a multi-billion-dollar pipeline of transformative transport and social infrastructure projects, operating and maintaining thousands of kilometres of roads and managing our city’s public transport network. **The role**
As the leader of our Corporate Communications team, you’ll be responsible for delivering proactive and reactive communication strategies that resonate with our diverse range of customers and stakeholders. Your political acumen will be essential in navigating the complex landscape, ensuring that our messaging aligns seamlessly with governmental and departmental priorities.

Reporting into the Director, Marketing & Communications, you will lead a dynamic team of internal, external and digital communicators and will work closely with business units to deliver communication projects that increase engagement and build trust in our brand.

**Responsibilities**
Strategic Direction: Lead the charge in delivering communication strategies and developing digital channels (website and intranet) that elevate our brand and message.

Leadership: Inspire and guide your team to deliver high-quality communication materials, strategies and channels that exceed expectations.

Stakeholder Engagement: Foster connections with our diverse customer base, community, staff and stakeholders to enhance our relationships and communication.

Resource Management: Collaborate with directorate sections and business units to manage corporate communication resources across various channels.

Collaboration: Work closely with the directorate and divisional leadership teams to drive an integrated approach in achieving government and departmental goals.

**Requirements**:
Tertiary qualifications in communications or public relations or equivalent industry experience is essential.

**Special Conditions**

Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.

**Remuneration**
MAS3 - $125,970 per annum
