**Manager, Line 2 Compliance - DCEO & Group Strategy**

**Do work that matters**

The team provides compliance risk management support to a number of businesses within CBA, covering Complaints, Remediation, Advocacy, Banking Executive Accountability Regime, Whistleblowing, among others. The team also conducts regulatory engagement with regulators, including ASIC, APRA and work related to the BCCC.

The team provides oversight and guidance to the business to ensure that it has sufficient capability to be compliant with regulations, reduce compliance risks and build trust with its customers.

**Your day could look like but not limited to**:

- Oversee and provide insightful advice to BU/SU's implementing the CMF, including Issue Management, Incident Management, Regulatory Change and Engagement, Risk and Controls, Obligations Management and Compliance Reporting;
- Provide guidance and insights to BU/SU compliance teams on Compliance Management best practice and various elements of the CMF and related policies, standards and procedures;
- Implement and embed framework changes across the Group by gaining appropriate buy-in and sign-off and building excellent stakeholder relationships;
- Undertake analysis on the CMF and developing insights to support the reporting process; and
- Through on the job training and coaching from your manager, developing your skills on persuading and influencing, being a credible partner, providing insights and judgement, and effective challenge.

The role would suit an enthusiastic and dynamic Compliance professional who will play a crucial role in assisting compliance with relevant Frameworks, supporting Group-wide compliance initiatives and completing L2 activities as part of Incident Management.

**Additional requirements we’re looking for;**
- Experienced background in Compliance, Legal, Risk or Controls
- Ability to manage multiple and complex stakeholders
- Experience in conducting monitoring activities and assurance reviews
- Experience in the assessment and management of Compliance Incidents
- Ability to demonstrate independence, provide oversight and challenge management on decisions and processes regarding compliance
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- Willingness and ability to build and maintain relationships, both internally and externally.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to make sound judgments under tight deadlines
- Self-starter with the ability to self-direct as needed
