About the Business Unit
The Consumer Affairs, Liquor, Gaming and Dispute Services group at the Department of Justice and Community Safety brings together the department's consumer protection, regulation and dispute resolution functions to: regulate gambling and liquor industries and consumer affairs; provide policy advice on areas including gaming and liquor and consumer protection matters; and provide dispute resolution services to the community.

About the Role
The Executive Assistant's primary purpose is to provide high level executive support to the Executive Director, Gaming and Liquor and the Executive Director, Regulatory Assurance and Policy. This role provides effective diary management including scheduling and coordinating meetings, booking meeting rooms and preparing meeting documentation. You will also provide general administrative assistance including managing the workflow of departmental briefings and correspondence, writing meeting minutes, processing invoices and payments and arranging transport, flights and accommodation when required. The successful applicant will possess excellent organisational skills, an ability to prioritise tasks, work proactively in a dynamic environment, have solid attention to detail skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

**Some of your duties may include**:

- Provide diary management and administrative assistance to the both the Executive Director, Gaming and Liquor and the Executive Director, Regulatory Assurance and Policy.
- Draft minutes for reoccurring and ad hoc meetings.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external to the department.

About You
- Proven experience in providing daily diary management and executive support.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritise departmental correspondence.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.

This includes evidence of three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine required by the department (from time to time).

- COVID-19 digital certificate (available via your myGov account)
- Your immunisation history statement (available via your myGov account)

Other documentation outside the above will not be accepted as evidence of having received your COVID-19 vaccine doses.
