**Assignment Description**

The Project Controls Reporting Specialist reports to the Sr. Director of Project Controls and is responsible for the review and analysis of project data and reporting and presenting of the data. The Reporting Lead will work in close collaboration with the wider project team to assure that communication of project status and Albemarle project initiatives are clear and accurate.
- Coordinate and compile project reporting to support weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting.
- Exercise oversight of and interfaces with contractors' cost control deliverables in consultation with project leads.
- Ensure robust review and analysis of project reporting and overall message of that reporting that is being conveyed upward and outward.
- Work with project controls team to ensure that project reporting accurately reflects budgets and forecasts based on the most relevant data available.
- Coordinate and consolidate project reporting and overall variance analysis against approved budgets and forecasts.
- Perform variance and trend analysis against budget, growth allocation and Forecast Final Cost (FFC).
- Review of contractor's work packages ensuring costs are monitored / reported in compliance with approved project controls plan.
- Review and verify/validate forecast and cost phasing reported by contractors.
- Participate in monthly project reviews with the leadership team.
- Provide early recognition and warning to stakeholders of adverse trends impacting project cost and schedule.

**Qualifications Required**
- 1-10 years of experience working in a Capital Projects team preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to understand technical information and communicate status upward.
- Exceptional reporting and presentation skills with high level attention to detail.
- Proficiency in project controls tools or demonstrate the ability to learn: Earned Value, MS Office (spreadsheets, word processing, presentations, graphics) Power BI, SAP, Excel, Primavera (P6), Cleopatra (or like estimating and cost management software), Milestone Pro, project reporting dashboard, etc

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or related technical field.
