Lead the organisation shaping Victoria’s precincts, places, and spaces
- Further build on Development Victoria’s commitment to culture, capability, and delivery
- Partner with a collaborative Board and build strong relationships across government and industry

Development Victoria creates places for people - reimagining iconic places to transform them for future generations, unlocking public land to develop connected and sustainable precincts, and building affordable and diverse homes where they’re needed. As a statutory authority, Development Victoria brings the Victorian government’s vision to life by translating big picture public policies into real world public places - all designed to make Victoria an even more amazing place to live or visit. They are proud to create a place where DV people can thrive because of the diversity that they bring - with a culture of inclusion recognised as key to the success of the organisation.

As Chief Executive Officer, you will have the ability to articulate Development Victoria’s vision to all levels of the organisation, government, the private sector, and the general public. You will be able to successfully implement an organisational strategy focused on delivering world class urban renewal and development projects in a commercial and self-sustaining way. You ideally have government experience and/or a background in large scale property, commercial, or infrastructure development combined with a high level of commercial acumen and an understanding of public sector governance and risk management processes. Organisational transformation and change management expertise will also be advantageous when leading this collaborative organisation focused on maximising the social good of Victoria’s places and spaces.
