About the role
As the Complex Case Support Manager you will have responsibility for the following:

- Provide expert and strategic advice to regional system leaders to inform strategic direction and the achievement of regional priorities relating to student engagement.
- Coordinate the work of regional and school teams, community groups and other government agencies to ensure the timely provision of expert advice and seamless complex case management support to all schools within the region.
- Collaborate with Senior Guidance Officers to implement effective transition support for students with a pattern of complex behaviours with a focus in interrupting the trajectory of students experiencing multiple exclusions.
- Provide consistent and effective oversight of the regionally managed alternative sites to support a regional approach to intervention and transitions into school of enrolment after intervention.
- Use effective project management strategies and a strong customer service focus to ensure outcomes are delivered in a timely and effective manner.
- Develop and maintain effective linkages with other work areas within the department and non-government organisations to ensure departmental objectives are achievable.
- Build and maintain positive relationships and effective communication networks with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare submissions, reports, briefing material and correspondence on complex case support management issues.
- Work with a high degree of autonomy and lead and participate in multi-disciplinary teams.
