- A great Temporary opportunity has now become available for a Dietitian to join the Winter Bed Strategy located at Nepean Hospital. These positions are available in either a Full Time or Part time role until September 2024.The occupant of this position is responsible for the provision of high quality, evidence-based Nutrition and Dietetics Services to inpatients, outpatients and staff of the NBMLHD
- Your role as the Dietitian level 1-2 will be responsible for a high level of clinical expertise and knowledge in general clinical Dietetics, evaluating and developing the Dietetic services to inpatients and outpatients and other clients/staff.
- This position will see you attend relevant clinical and department meetings (ward rounds, case conferences, lectures, professional development sessions, staff meetings) and designing and implementing nutritional counselling/education programs for patients and staff as required.**Benefits available to eligible NBMLHD employees**

**What you will bring to the role**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Nutrition and Dietetics and eligible for full membership of the Dietitians Australia.
- Up-to-date knowledge and skills in nutrition and dietetic practice, including the inpatient acute care setting.
- Current experience as a clinicial dietitian with demonstrated post graduate experience.
- Demonstrated evidence of excellent oral and written communication skills, including experience and confidence within multi-disciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully both as part of a team and independently, while managing a high paced and high volume workload.
- Experience in nutrition related quality improvement projects focusing on improvements in clinical patient care and/or services.
- Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
- Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa._
