**About the role**:
**Duties**:

- Provide training and support in the preparation of training and assessment materials selected for AMEP & SEE Quality Assurance processes. Review and respond to QA/QAA reports and provide clear feedback to network providers on required actions and continuous improvements.
- Design and deliver professional development (PD) sessions and materials based on program requirements and current or emerging program delivery needs.
- Design, update and provide training in Initial Assessments and Pre-Training Assessment kits.
- Attend professional development workshops and seminars that relate to the delivery of the AMEP and SEE programs as required.
- Support the Education Manager to respond to requests for assistance or expertise related to AMEP and SEE program classroom delivery by the Departments (DHA & DEWR), QA provider or other external and internal stakeholders.
- Attend and/or lead Communities of Practice as required.
- Respond to updates and changes to the Departments’ requirements with resources and training.
- Assist the AMEP and SEE Education Manager to identify opportunities for projects and delivery improvements. Support providers to plan and implement projects when required.

**Skills and experience required**:

- Appropriate graduate qualifications with TESOL, industrial experience, A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40110) including Design and Develop Assessment Tools (TAEASS502) and Address Adult language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills (TAELLN411) or (TAELLN401A) and an approved course of teacher training accredited at AQF Level 5 relevant to the department’s programs.
- Demonstrated high level of knowledge in curriculum delivery and assessment practices.
- Demonstrated knowledge of, and expertise in, teaching methodologies and understanding of adult learning principles appropriate to EAL programs.
- Demonstrated experience in using Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) skills in the delivery and administration of EAL-based teaching programs.
- High level communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills including tact, diplomacy and ability to maintain confidentiality.
