We are currently seeking a Full Time Temporary staff member for a 12 month contract to join our team based at our offices in Sunshine.

**The role
Reporting to the Coordinator, City Compliance, we are seeking an Animal Management Officer who can bring their skills and experience for:

- Enforcement and education relating to responsible pet ownership and to ensure compliance with relevant Legislation Investigating reported breaches of Legislation with appropriate actions as required.To be considered you will have:

- Extensive knowledge and proficiency in the safe handling of domestic animals and livestock
- Local government experience is desirable
- Certificate IV in Animal Control or Local Government Compliance is desirable
