- The Consultant, Partnering and Employment Services is responsible for supporting the delivery of a client focussed service to all levels of management and employees of the Department and providing high level advice and support in the management of a broad range of strategic workforce management, recruitment and employment and employee relations matters.DPFEM has an exciting and diverse opportunity to join our growing People and Culture team as a Consultant to partner with a unique group of portfolios.

To be successful in the role, you will have excellent communication skills and a calm demeanour in a challenging environment. You will be a self-starter with a proven track record of working without supervision, managing competing demands, responding with agility to a dynamic work place and a record of proven achievements. You will have some experience in managing matters concerning employee and workforce management. **Hours per fortnight**:
73.5 hours full time (minimum 44.1 hours / 0.6 FTE). We are open to considering a range of flexible work options including part time hours.

**Duties**:
The Consultant, Partnering and Employment Services is responsible for supporting the delivery of a client focussed service to all levels of management and employees of the Department and providing high level advice and support in the management of a broad range of strategic workforce management, recruitment and employment and employee relations matters.

**Essential Requirements**:
**Pre-Employment Checks**
- Arson and fire setting;
- Sexual offences;
- Dishonesty (e.g. theft, burglary, breaking and entering, fraud);
- Deception (e.g. obtaining an advantage by deception);
- Making false declarations;
- Violent crimes and crimes against the person;
- Malicious damage and destruction to property
- Trafficking of narcotic substance;
- False alarm raising.

**Desirable Requirements**:
A relevant qualification in human resource management or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
