**Role Description/Criteria**

At Bethany we hold the care, safety and well being of children as a central and fundamental responsibility of our school.

We are seeking a Music Teacher to begin in Term 2 or earlier by negotiation, who is passionate, knowledgeable and skilled. This role is part
- time, having an FTE of 0.4FTE or 2 days. Applicants will possess the skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience in Music and will embrace a collaborative approach to teaching and learning.

In addition, successful applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

- commitment to the Catholic Ethos, the principles of Catholic teaching, and living the school's vision
- commitment to the Bethany Child Safe Policy & the Staff Code of Conduct
- commitment to the ongoing professional learning and the continuing development of a positive school culture
- capacity to promote contemporary & innovative practices
- ability to communicate positively and effectively with all stakeholders in the school community.

**Special Requirements**
- accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School or a commitment to obtain accreditation
- current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration.
