Join our client's team on the beautiful Gold Coast as an Employee Relations (ER) Specialist. This is a 3-month fixed term contract position with the possibility of extension or even a permanent opportunity. As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and productive work environment within the organisation.

**The Role**:

- Advisory Services: Provide advice and support to managers, employees, and volunteers throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Performance Management: Assist managers in addressing performance concerns through coaching and performance improvement plans.
- Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances in a timely and confidential manner.
- Investigations: Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into complaints, allegations, or misconduct issues.
- Injury Management: Case manage workers' compensation claims and non-work-related injuries and illnesses.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of employee relations cases, investigations, and outcomes.

**About You**:

- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Employee Relations, or a similar field.
- Demonstrated experience in a comparable HR/employee relations role.
- Demonstrated experience in dealing with complex Employee Relations matters and change management.
- Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Effective problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships at all levels in the organization.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
