**Have you recently graduated from Uni with a Degree in Science or Engineering, or perhaps been out of work for a while and ready to return?**

We have a fixed term opportunity for part-time employment as a Technical Advisor - Wastewater Treatment. Whether you have years of experience, freshly graduated from a Degree in Science or Engineering (Chemical, Microbiology or equivalent), or perhaps have taken time off from your career to fulfil personal aspirations, this could be your new career move

Working 3 days per week, you will provide technical related services to support wastewater treatment operations throughout the Corporation, with the support and guidance from experts in wastewater treatment. A great opportunity to work in a well-established organisation in a technical role.

This is a 12-month fixed term opportunity with potential for extension.

**The fundamentals of your role**:

- Perform the routine review of wastewater treatment plant performances
- Support the technical administrative function required for the team (e.g., fill databases, report writing, etc)
- Undertake and manage minor technical projects related to wastewater
- Undertake investigations on wastewater treatment process technologies
- Undertake site-based support for regional wastewater treatment plant operation if required
- Provide support to Sr. Technical Advisors with technical related projects
- Contribute support in development of wastewater documentations and systems
- e.g., Process Control tables, WWQ Guidelines, Work instructions, etc.
- Provide support to Sr. Technical Advisors with wastewater treatment research and development initiatives
- Contribute to safety initiatives and take responsibility ensuring all works undertaken with safety as the priority

**All we require from you are these few things**:

- Tertiary qualification in a scientific or engineering field
- Knowledge and experience in wastewater treatment process design, operations and troubleshooting, chemistry, microbiology, or related laboratory & analytical services id preferable but not compulsory
- Valid C Class WA Driver’s license
