Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a
**Contract Manager** to manage and deliver a broad range of complex projects.

**About the role**:
The Section manages and delivers a broad range of complex capital investment projects, procurement of complex service management contracts and the contract management of major service contracts.

**Position duties include**:

- Assist in the engagement and management of external contractors and specialist advisers.
- Review contract documentation and assist in contract negotiations and final contract execution.
- Provide administrative support to projects - preparation of briefs, reports, plans, schedules, minutes, and financial management.
- Liaise with stakeholders on moderately complex to complex policy, project or operational issues.
- Perform general contract management responsibilities.
- Provide supervision and guidance to the Admin Officer.

**Ideally, you will have**:

- Government contract and project management experience
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
- Strong analytical skills and sound judgement.
- Sound understanding of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules.
