As a result of this growth, an exciting and rare opportunity has become available for a dynamic Accounts Officer who has strong proven experience throughout finance to join their collaborative team.

**About the Role**:
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the role will include but not be limited to:

- Accounts payable duties including: accurate processing and verification of supplier invoices, processing of payment runs, monitor petty cash, bank reconciliations and cash flow maintenance
- Accounts Receivable duties including: allocations, receipting, invoicing and follow up of overdue accounts
- Fortnightly payroll processing for 50+ employees
- Assist with the preparation of the monthly BAS
- Daily, weekly and monthly reconciliations
- Assist with end of month duties
- Identify opportunities for process improvement
- Develop and foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ad hoc duties to assist the broader finance team

**About You**:
To be considered successful as the Accounts Officer, you will have at least 5 years experience within Finance/Accounts with a similar background in Payables, Receivables and Payroll. The ideal individual will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a willingness to provide support in a team environment, and have a keen eye for detail. You must be customer service focused with enthusiasm and highly effective interpersonal skills. You will demonstrate the ability to confidently work autonomously, as well as collaboratively in a team environment with strong time management skills.
