**The Role**:
This full time role will be based at our 990 La Trobe Street Head office and working from home. Reporting to the Senior Manager - People Systems, Insights & Payroll, you will be responsible for developing, leading and driving Melbourne Water’s Contractor Management policy, standards, procedures, systems, processes and governance. This will be achieved through:

- Developing frameworks and policy for contractor on-boarding, off-boarding and lifecycle management, with a specific focus on site and systems access and asset provisioning and collection.
- Identify and implement appropriate contractor management systems to create transparency of the MW Contractor base for critical business planning.
- Identify and implement improvement initiatives to streamline existing processes creating consistency and efficiency in the management of all MW contractors.
- Identify and implement engagement initiatives to improve the lifecycle experience for Contractors, supporting the culture and values of the MW business and providing a positive experience for all.
- Act as the People & Transformation Team’s Subject Matter Expert on Contractors in the Identity and Access Management (IDAM) project
- Development and maintenance of all relevant Contractor Management information materials, including intranet information, policies, procedures and user guides.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industrial (IR) advice in the assessment of associated employer obligations in collaboration with our Workforce Relations Team.

**Your Skills and Experience**:

- Your vast experience in managing contractor compliance and policy frameworks will see you succeed within this role
- Proven experience in process and program improvement
- Project Management qualifications highly regarded (e.g. Agile, Prince2, Lean)
- Ability to influence change across the organisation to accelerate strategy execution, mindset change and accountability.
- The ability to drive operational effectiveness, process improvement, achieving capital spend targets, and ensure consistent audit outcomes
