We're on the hunt for a proactive and collaborative Paralegal to become a valued member of this Restructuring, Recoveries Collections and Disputes team. In this role, you'll be working closely with a team of talented Lawyers, infusing your can-do attitude and boundless energy into every project. In return for your enthusiasm, you'll find yourself immersed in a world of intriguing and intellectually stimulating recovery matters. Your responsibilities will be diverse, including:
- Drafting documents, including correspondence, statements of claim, judgments, writs of possession
- E-filing of court documents
- Assisting with management and running of files
- Stakeholder management
- Preparing discharge of mortgages, arranging settlements and files for eviction
- Identifying complex, sensitive and high risk matters and escalating them to a Lawyer
- Basic clerical duties associated with running your files
