About DXC

We are a leading provider of policy and claims management services to government and organisations across Australia.

As an Eligibility Officer, you will play a critical role in making decisions on whether to accept or reject claims, and transitioning claims to appropriate Case Managers for ongoing management.

You will also calculate PIAWE, advise Dispute Resolutions Managers on the rationale for original decisions, and identify the recovery potential of claims.

Your strength in technical knowledge of relevant legislation and resilience to achieve business and Worksafe objectives will see your success in this position.

Required Expertise:

  • 2 years or more experience in initial claims assessment (Case Manager), or 1 year or more in a paralegal or legal assistant position
  • Strong working knowledge of WorkCover scheme regulations, and/or a legal qualification
  • Teamwork and flexibility
  • Concern for others and ability to follow rules and regulations
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ACCtion and Novus case management systems

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum
