The Role

An exciting opportunity to join the Country Road team as the Textile Designer within Womenswear Work alongside some of the industries most talented and passionate designers for an iconic Australian brand that continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the creation and development of fashion graphic designs as well as repeats and finished artwork for têxtile prints
- Create repeats and finished artwork for têxtile prints across Womenswear and Accessories ensuring you improve the fashionability of the range whilst maintaining a consistent handwriting
- Research print trends and contribute to the strategic design brief
- Manage and maintain the colour system involving matching colours, colour naming, ordering swatches, managing administration and updating the system
- A design degree and experience in the fashion/graphic/têxtile industry
- Experience in using illustrator, photoshop, indesign
- The ability to sketch free-hand
- Organised, diligent and proactive in your approach
- The ability to develop relationships across the business
- Confidence in presenting to the MD and wider team
