Wanted: Family Assistant in Prahran

Prahran, Australia We Need a Nanny Full time

**Job Description**:
**Our Family**:

- Two professionals with two young children looking for someone who loves family life to assist them in caring for their children and supporting them in the practical tasks of running a nurturing home.

**Your Duties**:

- Duties 1. Housekeeping (approx 1 hour daily) -Tidy the house, including making beds. Putting everything in its place. -Laundry -Rotate toys 2. Food Preparation (approx 1 hour daily) -Prepare healthy dinner in discussion with the family, leftovers for the next day/freezing -Prepare simple dinner for toddler and baby -Pack lunch boxes and bags for toddler for next day -Unpack any grocery deliveries and add to the food shopping list for subsequent weeks. 3. Miscellaneous “Family Assistant” with duties depending on the day (approx 1 hour daily), which might include: -Setting up systems to ensure the smooth functioning of the household. -Decluttering of household including toys. Making sure everything has a place and everything's in its place. -Childcare - Supervise independent play with the 3 year old, or engage in pretend play and play games for some of the time, or include the 3 year old in cooking. Baby watching/holding/wearing and bottle feeding if required. -Picking up the 3 year old from kindergarten. -Shopping at Prahran market.

- Hours: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays 3-6 pm (3 hours a day, 9 hours a week) Pay: $40 p/h ($360 pw) including superannuation Location: Prahran, 3 min walk from train station Family: Mum, Dad, 3 year old girl and 3 month old boy
