**What does the role involve?**

Lead our Cybersecurity strategy and architecture to enable our business to achieve its strategic goals and objectives.

**Wait... there’s more to this role, you will also**:

- Build and maintain a cyber strategy and architecture team/ function that delivers thought provoking, business relevant advice for use in critical business strategies and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain architecture roadmaps that are relevant, resonate with stakeholders, and enable architecture decisions to be made to support our businesses.
- Be accountable for developing a customer focused, commercially realisable set of roadmaps framing a common vision and pragmatic implementation strategy for the enterprise Cybersecurity technology solutions.
- Focus on driving value for the customer and understanding and articulating the value proposition of the technology strategies and roadmaps and maintaining linkages back to the Enterprise & business strategies.
- Work with external vendors to understand new and emerging Cybersecurity trends, solutions, and technologies and how these can be applied to meet Cybersecurity Strategy and drive value for our business and its customers.

**What will make you successful in the role?**
- Previous experience leading Cyber Security Architecture and Strategy in a large organisation or for a major business unit/ domain;
- Experience not only successfully designing and implementing strategy, roadmaps and architectures but also executing them.
- Proven ability to understand business/customer needs, and to address those by finding the right technology solutions;
- Strong collaborator, with an ability to bring together inputs from different areas to create a holistic solution to meet the needs of the business;
- Experience managing strategy and architecture teams (directly/ and indirectly) for large, enterprise wide portfolios and/or multiple programs of work;
- Experience partnering with key business stakeholders to offer advice, thought leadership and innovation including C-level executives.
- Previous Operational/ design or architecture background will be seen favourably.

You will be an immaculate storyteller, who can articulate compelling architectural vision in strategic business terms. You are known for your adept communication, influencing and negotiation skills and have the natural ability to craft compelling strategies and roadmaps, keeping in mind the Cyber Security risks/ threats and future technology trends.
