The Grid Connection Manager will be responsible for overseeing the grid connection process for a range of renewable energy projects, including wind farms, solar farms, and hydroelectric facilities. This role requires a proactive and technically proficient individual who can navigate regulatory requirements, optimize grid connections, and ensure the successful delivery of projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the grid connection process for renewable energy projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and implement strategies to secure grid connection agreements efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Liaise with network service providers, regulators, and other stakeholders to navigate regulatory requirements and technical standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments to identify grid connection options and constraints.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of grid connection agreements, ensuring alignment with project objectives and regulatory frameworks.
- Coordinate grid connection activities with internal project teams, including engineering, construction, and procurement.
- Monitor project timelines and milestones related to grid connection activities, identifying and addressing potential delays or issues.
- Provide technical expertise and support to resolve grid connection-related challenges during project development and operations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including network service providers, government agencies, and industry associations.
- Participate in grid connection-related consultations, hearings, and working groups to represent the company's interests.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in grid connection management or related roles within the renewable energy industry.
- Strong understanding of electricity network infrastructure, grid codes, and connection requirements.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering grid connection projects for renewable energy assets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and industry practices governing grid connection in Australia.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) desirable.
