**About the Opportunity**:

- Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology_ now has multiple exciting opportunities for full-time **Laboratory Assistants** to join our Specimen Reception Area (afternoon and night shifts) and Main Laboratory (day, afternoon and night shifts) in the Histopathology department of our Bowen Hills laboratory.

SRA duties may include:

- Specimen reception
- Data input into Histology accessioning system
- General assistance to dissection staff
- Daily inventory

Main laboratory duties may include:

- Embedding and microtomy of specimens
- Slide and block filing
- General laboratory duties, including assistance to allocation bench
- Stores inventory

To be considered for this role, you will be an enthusiastic individual who is flexible in your approach and has strong communication skills. You will be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and successfully work as part of a team.

Moreover, you will have strong computer skills and be willing to do other general laboratory duties, as required.
