**About this role**
The purpose of this role is to lead and manage the development and evaluation of strategic policies and projects/programs for the Ministry of Health, public health organisations, and related government agencies to support the achievement of NSW Health’s objectives within the Health and Social Policy portfolio. The position has a key focus on policy for priority and vulnerable populations in NSW.

**Crown Clerk 11/12,** salary from $134,411 - $155,445 p.a. (plus super and annual leave loading)

**Where you'll be working**
The Health and Social Policy Branch is part of the Health System Strategy and Planning Division in the NSW Ministry of Health and includes five units: Aged Care; Disability, Paediatric Healthcare and Youth & Wellbeing; Maternity, Child and Family; Community Care and Priority Populations.

The Branch works in partnership with the health system, government agencies, academia and the non-government sector to develop equity-based policies and programs for the NSW health system, including where these connect with social care. The work of the Branch is strongly influenced by evidence-based and social determinants approaches and focusses on building connections and integrating care.
