**A snippet about the role**

A brand spanking new role within the Technical Services Practice has been created where we are looking for an Infrastructure Guru to provide expertise in the optimisation and transformation of IT Service Continuity. This includes management methodologies, techniques, practices, processes and procedures to ensure process control and risk mitigations efforts are proactive, efficient and result in high service stability.

This role will provide back-up for the Major Incident Manager, so out of hours work is required.

**What kind of human you are**

You thrive on identifying, leading and delivering processes and procedures to ensure high quality work. You are a collaborative kinda person, with ninja level listening skills and challenges the status quo to be able to turn your findings in to processes for improvement. Communication is king and you will liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders on the regular to design processes, build it, roll it out and execution of reporting functions.

You will support the capability to implement and measure the capacity and availability processes to provide transparency & confidence around the value of the practices, to provide measures for quality and risk coverage, and enable data-driven decision-making.

You keep yourself up to date with the latest technologies & enjoy preparing monthly analytics as part of regulatory reporting. You have a mentorship mindset and will provide consultative support and coaching to service owners.

**Skills we are on the hunt for**
- Solid chops in successful transformation, optimisation & improvement of IT Service Management techniques, practices, processes with metrics, data and impact statements as evidence
- Experience in Major Incident Management
- Developed & documented Service Management policies, processes and methodologies. This includes the creation and maintenance of:

- o Streamlined repositories that are easy to use
- o Clear policies/standards that define statements of intent and objectives
- o Process maps
- Top drawer communication skills with a client focus (internal and external)
- Collaboration, workshop facilitation, problem framing, and storytelling
- IT Service Management (ITSM) and the ITIL best practice framework
- Board, Executive and Senior Management level reporting - strong data analysis skills are key
- Understanding of financial markets/related products
- Understanding of IT related risk, including **3 lines of defence**
