**Federal Government Agency** to engage multiple
**APS5/6 AND EL1 Policy/Program Officers**.
***This position is located in their busy
**Canberra** office for an initial
**6 month contract.**

**Duties**
- strengthening the cyber security requirements in the Protective Security Policy Framework
- strengthening classified information sharing arrangements
- supporting annual reporting on security maturity
- collaborating with lead protective security entities to respond to emerging issues and threats
- strengthening the response to the threat of malicious insiders, including supporting reforms to vetting policy
- lead briefing to senior executive and government on protective security policy
- supporting audits and other external scrutiny
- supervising staff

**Requirements/Skills**
- Baseline Security Clearance at a minimum (will be required to have the ability to obtain and maintain NV1 security clearance)
- Preference for people who are enthusiastic, willing to learn
- Preference for people with proven ability to provide written advice and briefings at short notice
- Policy experience would be preferred
- Legal qualification is not required
