The Venue Services team supports internal and external hirers and an all-year-round program of events and functions. We'll have two venues with the capacity to operate and provide service to the community across seven days. **About the role**

Reporting to the Venue Services Manager, this position is responsible for delivering venue services, and in particular audio-visual expertise and support for the facilitation of internal and external venue hire, performance, exhibitions and other events within PHIVE, Parramatta Town Hall and other City of Parramatta community hubs (on occasion). We're looking for someone with previous experience in production and audio-visual and who is committed to providing excellent customer service.
- Assist the team to deliver functions, meetings, events and performances for internal and external clients of PHIVE and Parramatta Town Hall
- Work alongside the Facility Support Officers to arrange furniture and equipment in accordance with final floor plans and client requests
- Meet and greet and deliver high-quality customer service including assisting customers with the use of in-house technology, including trouble-shooting connection and audio-visual equipment issues
- Liaise with suppliers who have been sub-contracted to facilitate requirements for internal and external parties who are utilising the venue
- Provide advice and facilitate the integration of in-house and sub-hired equipment to deliver high-quality outcomes for venue hirers and their guests
- Work closely with the PHIVE programming team and other internal programmers to scope requirements and execute audio-visual and other technological needs for programs

**About You**
- Technical certificate and / or extensive industry experience in audio-visual, sound and/or technology services in a venue (theatre, function space, business centre or similar)
- Demonstrated experience and capacity to undertake operation of audio-visual equipment at an advanced level along with the ability to interpret plans and drawings
- Technical skills relating to lighting/sound, AV and production equipment, including video conferencing technology.
- Excellent customer service skills and be comfortable with liaising directly with clients/customers from commercial and community organisations.
- Current Working With Children Check
