This independent statutory authority, established by the Australian Federal Government, is seeking multiple APS5 Complaints Officers to join them for an 18-month period.
**Your new role**
As an APS5 Complaints Handling Officer, you will assess and monitor complaints and regulatory intelligence and manage a caseload of complaints related to these providers.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- The ability to identify trends and issues through oversight and review of complaints.
- Complete assessments of complaints to a quality standard within agreed timeframes.
- Provide education and training to providers about identifying incidents and preventing abuse and neglect of people with disabilities.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Prepare complex correspondence and corporate documentation, including reports, briefings, and submissions.
- Contribute to a learning culture where expertise can be developed and shared.
- Support and build abilities in a team environment.- Must be an Australian citizen.
**What you'll get in return**
- 18-month contract with an option to extend.
- Multiple positions available
- Based in Penrith or Parramatta
- $55 - 59 per hour plus super
- Hybrid working arrangements
- Working hours are 8am - 5pm 5 days a week, but can be flexible on start and finish times depending on the person's needs.
