**Warehouse Support Officer**:

The tasks within this role are varied meaning no two days are the same, this variety allows for someone to be able to take lead and adopt to the day of operations within a fast-paced distribution and warehouse environment.

**Here is some of what you will be doing**:

- Implement and co-ordinate the processes and systems required to manage the Queensland Rail's inventory in an efficient manner.
- Provide customer support service to operational areas including our major inventory depots.
- Co-ordinate traffic management for all material deliveries and despatches within the warehouse ensuring compliance to safety.
- Manage transport and logistics for all incoming and outgoing material deliveries.
- Ensure stock movements to major operational depots, suppliers and service provider depots are carried out regularly and accurately.

**What we are looking for**:

- Background and experience working within a warehouse and logistics environment.
- Knowledge of inventory management processes and materials.
- Essential skill in the input and extraction of data using SAP Materials Management Module including requisitions, transport orders, issues, receipting, stocktaking, Materials Requirements Planning and running inventory reports.
- Strong multi-tasking skills in co-ordinating large amounts of stores and materials within multiple storage facilities.
- Excellent customer service skills with strong oral and written skills.
- Team player as well as ability to work autonomously.
- Current Forklift licence
- Your own reliable vehicle transport

General hours of warehousing and logistics operations range between 6am-4pm Monday - Friday, this role typically works a standard 38 hour week within these operating times, however we are also looking for someone who will have flexibility for occasional outside hours, on call and overtime availability if required.
