We have a permanen oppor uni y for an experienced Finance Par ner o par ner wi h our Business and Priva e Banking (B&PB) Finance eam o drive financial insigh and analysis o lead and improve Business performance. he purpose of hese roles is o provide commercial financial leadership, guidance and suppor hrough value-add analysis and insigh, financial planning, financial con rol, projec governance, forecas ing, repor ing, and advisory services.

Your responsibili ies will include:

- Drive de ailed financial analysis by using da a analy ical skills o enable he provision of commercial and financial advice, on bo h s ra egic and opera ional ini ia ives, such as he origina ion & pipeline for business, lending and deposi produc margins, ROE, RWA ini ia ives, expense produc ivi y savings, regional, indus ry and banker performance.
- Assess, analyse, and inves iga e aspec s of financial repor ing of B&PB (Lending volumes, Ne In eres Margin, Fee incomes, credi impairmen charge), including unders anding of variances o Business plan/expec a ions o ensure accura e repor ing and he produc ion of Business financial insigh for po en ial drivers of variances.
- Coordina e planning models o ensure business inpu s and group assump ions are reflec ed.
- Suppor he ransla ion of he s ra egy of he business uni in o func ionally effec ive plan. Provide he overall direc ion o he relevan BU leadership eam o ensure developmen and delivery of objec ives and ini ia ives wi hin he s ra egic parame ers.
- Iden ify financial performance rends, bo h posi ive and nega ive, and, hrough cri ical review & analysis of in ernal and ex ernal fac ors, develop and recommend shor - and longer
- erm s ra egies o improve business performance.
- Suppor he BU/EU Execu ives in par nership wi h he HO/CFO, o grow he business, align wi h our s ra egic ambi ion and ensure ransforma ion / simplifica ion.
- Work wi h he cen ral planning eams o relay business knowledge ha can be leveraged during he planning process. Engage and liaise wi h he business and heir par ners around execu ing plan arge alloca ions.
- Main ain unders anding of group finance policy requiremen s and ensure compliance including iden ifying and addressing any areas of no compliance.
- Suppor he NAB Group's financial accoun ing, con rolling, forecas ing, planning, and repor ing process.

- Previous Finance/business par nering experience wi h Finance/Financial Services knowledge required.
- Experience across a range of Finance disciplines including par nering wi h divisions, corpora e cen re planning and repor ing and financial con rol roles.
- Relevan er iary degree in Accoun ing/Commerce/Business and CA/CPA qualified preferred.
