As a Finance Business Partner you will support the delivery of finance services to the Bank's Technology Departments. You will deliver advice and direction on finance issues and policies to Heads of designated departments and their management teams, and support departments and the Bank’s executives by providing timely reporting and analysis, and insights on relevant department and bankwide trends, risks and opportunities.

Your team

This role is within the Finance Department which is responsible for the Reserve Bank’s financial statements and taxation reporting obligations, supports the preparation of the Bank’s budget and its financial forecasting, manages the Bank’s project management office and associated governance frameworks, and provides a range of support services including: corporate payments, payroll, staff contracts and on-boarding, travel, and other support services.

Your background

We are seeking an ambitious and driven business partner with strong communication skills and proven relationship building and stakeholder management experience. A proven ability to produce timely and insightful reporting and analysis, resilience, responsiveness and a personable nature will help set you up for success in this key role within the Finance team.

To be successful in this critical role you will possess:
- Significant experience in performing a customer facing/advisory finance related role (IT / SAAS industry experience highly regarded)- Experience of working with Power BI highly desirable- Extensive experience in preparing, monitoring and reporting of expenditures against plans and forecasts.-
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate and communicate strongly with key stakeholders across the Bank, and an ability to build and maintain effective working relationships- Proven success in delivering key business objectives and outcomes- Qualified member of a professional accounting body in Australia (or international equivalent).
