**About the Position**
The City of Stirling is seeking a dynamic and experienced Fleet Services Coordinator to lead our workshop team. As the Coordinator Fleet Services, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining our fleet, plant, and equipment to optimal operating conditions while minimizing operational downtime.
**Key Responsibilities**
The duties of the **Fleet Services Coordinator** will include but are not limited to:
- **Strategic Leadership**:Manage the City’s fleet and plant maintenance systems, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
- **Policy Development**:Collaborate with the Service Lead Fleet to develop and implement fleet management policies, quality systems, and operational plans.
- **Efficiency Enhancement**:Continuously review and analyse fleet processes and procedures to improve efficiency.
- **Reporting**:Prepare detailed management reports on fleet maintenance issues, including monthly service statistics, plant usage, and defect causes.
- **Recommendations**:Provide well-documented recommendations to management based on industry trends and best practices.
- **Budget Oversight**:Contribute to the development of capital and operational budgets, tracking progress toward objectives.
- **Technical Support**:Assist with tender evaluations and monitor Fleet Asset movements within the City.
- **Cost Analysis**:Collaborate on “whole of life” costing analysis to reduce fleet expenses.
- **Supervision**:Lead and supervise employees and contracts delivering fleet services, ensuring exceptional customer service.
- **Safety Focus**:Ensure safety procedures are followed in the mechanical workshop.
- **Compliance**:Ensure City vehicles, plant, and equipment meet occupational health and safety standards and Australian design rules.
**About You**
- Relevant qualifications in fleet management, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in fleet services coordination, preferably in a local government context.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

This **permanent full-time** position is a Level 9 Inside Workforce Agreement positions which attract a salary from $119,122 to $125,394 gross pro rata per annum plus superannuation with a 3.75% increase as of 1 July 2024.

- A copy of Australian driving licence
- National Police Clearance (valid within the last 3 months)
- Pre-Employment Medical and DAS clearance
