**The Role**

McIlwain is seeking a Fulltime Procurement Coordinator to join our Coomera Connector Project.

**The Role**

Processing purchase requisitions in a timely and cost-effective manner
Generating & reviewing purchase orders in line with stakeholder requirements
Negotiating best prices from suppliers
Working with Engineers to arranging & negotiate with Sub-Contractors
Advancing purchase orders according to delegations, and reviewing delivery performance
Effective management of system inputs relating to supply
Supporting with Job Costings
Following to PPE standards and ordering procedure
Managing supplier relations & contract assistance - ongoing development of and meetings with suppliers
Sourcing for supplies, services and equipment required, ensuring this is within the limits of the current approved budget, and in accordance with purchasing procedures
Keep informed of current developments in the field of purchasing, prices, market conditions and new products
Suggest and maintain forms as are reasonably necessary to conform to the requirements of rules and regulations
Construction or similar heavy industry experience is desirable
Working within a procurement role, ideally in precontracts with at least 2 years exposure
Well-developed communication skills & ability to work with suppliers and subcontractors
Proficient in MS Office including Excel

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
