As an
**Underwriting Support Officer**, you'll play a vital role in ensuring operational excellence. You will be responsible in a range of tasks from efficient policy processing to seamless collaboration, data-driven insights, and agile problem-solving.

**Main responsibilities include**:

- Assisting the Single Risk business by processing policies within the system.
- Prepare comprehensive policy documents, including renewals, ensuring accuracy for Underwriters.
- Responding to inquiries from customers and brokers in a prompt and effective manner.
- Collaborating with brokers and the finance team on matters related to receivables.
- Generating, analysing, and translating data and reports into actionable insights
- Undertaking additional underwriting tasks based on relevant experience.
- Identify opportunities for improvement to ensure efficiency.
- Ad hoc responsibilities

- At least 2 years’ of experience within insurance.
- Previous exposure to underwriting is advantageous but not required
- Strong organisational and attention to detail
- Proficiency in software such as Outlook and Excel.
- Organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Must have permanent rights to work in Australia (citizenship or permanent residency).
