- The purpose of the role is to assist in delivering a project that will introduce mandatory individual electronic tagging (eID) for sheep and goats in Tasmania. The primary objectives of the project are to: - enable a harmonised national approach to livestock traceability systems;

**Hours per fortnight**:
73.50 (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).

**Period of Appointment**:
2 years.

**Duties**:
The purpose of the role is to assist in delivering a project that will introduce mandatory individual electronic tagging (eID) for sheep and goats in Tasmania. The primary objectives of the project are to:

- enable a harmonised national approach to livestock traceability systems;
- enable effective and rapid tracing of livestock in response to emergencies, biosecurity, and food safety incidents; and
- maintain and enhance international market access for Australian livestock products.

**Desirable Requirements**:

- A current motor vehicle driver’s licence.
- Strong knowledge and familiarity using Office 365 products.
