**Job description**:
**The Opportunity**

On behalf of a large Federal Government Agency based in Richmond, we are looking for an
**APS5 Project Officer** to join the Strategy team on a
**12 month assignment**.

This role will work Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week and will be a hybrid working arrangement. The hourly pay rate is $55.24 per hour plus super.

This is a team membership position and will have considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders.

**Responsibilities include;**
- Assist in project management and coordination activities, monitoring and reviewing program and project activities against plans
- Contribute to the development and management of project plans and schedules
- Provide advice, procedural guidance and technical expertise in specific areas of project work
- Perform research work and analysis including contributing to the preparation of reports
- Draft a range of written material including business cases, project plans and reports
- Assist with managing project budgets
- Assist with the identification of project risks and issues

**To be considered for this role you will demonstrate;**
- Previous experience in project management and/or coordination
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt in a changing environment
- Excellent organisational skills
