**Day Shift Hours**: Monday to Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
- Coordinate with stakeholders throughout the organization to ensure efficient, continuous operations.
- Support management team on achieving annual goals and targets.
- Ensure products have been filled, labeled, and sealed accurately.
- Train production operators on safe and efficient performance of tasks.
- Ensure proper inspection and use of personal safety equipment; maintain appropriate documentation on same.
- Ensure tooling materials (bulk and packaging components) are reset in time.
- Assist in tool and inventory checks as required.
- Monitor quality of products; detect and correct issues as they arise.
- Support Supervisor with staff scheduling and performance reviews.
- Oversee department in the absence of the supervisor or manager.
- Follow and adhere to all given instructions including work procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Strictly adhere and observe all safety policies as outlined in the company policies and training sessions.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum two years’ experience in manufacturing, preferably in a current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) facility.
- Mechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot equipment.
- Completion of secondary school with a graduation diploma (an asset).
- Previous supervisory experience (an asset).
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to work well with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work within stringent time constraints.
- Ability to motivate staff in a positive manner.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Solid consciousness for safety.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
