**Where you'll be working**
Health Protection NSW works to prevent exposure to, and minimise impact of, infectious and environmental hazards. HPNSW works closely with public health units in local health districts in the development, implementation and evaluation activities to protect public health.

**About this role**
The Manager, Business Coordination provides professional and organisational leadership, strategic advice and support to the Executive Director and Branches of Health Protection NSW. This includes, but is not limited to, coordinating overarching business processes and financial reporting for Health Protection NSW, and contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of strategic projects and priority works.

You may be asked to undertake further assessments as part of the recruitment process for this position, which may include, but is not limited to, psychometric assessment (e.g. personality and cognitive abilities assessments) and/or particular work tasks.

**Selection Criteria**
- Tertiary or post graduate qualifications in business/finance and/or significant industry experience.
- Understanding of governmental processes and accountabilities.
- Demonstrated capacity to lead others and work within a multi-talented, multi-disciplinary team including effective delegation and contributing to the success of others.
- Demonstrated high level oral and written communication, negotiation skills and interpersonal skills, and team management experience.
- Significant experience in business/logistic coordination and management.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems in a challenging and dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated extensive skills and experience in managing all stages of the project and policy cycle (planning, development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation) and managing multiple projects in parallel.

**COVID-19 Vaccination Compliancy**
All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). Additionally, Category A workers are required to receive a booster dose three months after completing the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 immunisation medical exemption form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
