A global organisation that is a specialist in their field, with over 40 manufacturing companies World Wide and who focus on sales and service in the Australian market.

**The Role***

Reporting to the Factory Manager, you will be supporting others within the organisation to deliver exceptional service. This is a wide and varied role and would see you supporting the inventory management functions across the business. You would be involved in parts ordering, parts receiving, parts issuing, and maintenance of the inventory management system. This role will support both the Purchasing & Shipping coordinator and Accounts Receivables.

You will be IT savvy and demonstrate a positive attitude with a willingness to help all lines of the business met objectives, so a great multi-tasker, who is calm under pressure would be well suited to this role.

This organisation currently uses an in-house inventory system (Manage) but will be moving to a newer system in the next 12 to 18 months, so a great opportunity to be involved with this transformation.

Tasks include;
- Processing purchase orders (Obtaining pricing, Raising Orders)
- Processing receivers (Confirming correct parts, pricing, and quantity)
- Processing job picklists (Issuing inventory from stores to production)
- Identify parts shortages and taking steps to resolve them (Expedite orders, order follow ups)
- Update and maintain inventory master-data as agreed with Management
- Support the Factory Manager with ad hoc tasks***

**Hours***

8.30am - 5pm (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Start times may be flexible and there may be flexibility to swap days, if required, and meet business demands.

**Key Requirements***
- Must have full working rights in Australia
- Forklift licence (or be prepared to get one) and full driver's licence
- Ability to multi-task and keep a cool head
- Savvy working with computers and systems.***
