**About the RACGP**
The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) is the peak representative organisation for general practice, the backbone of Australia’s health system. We set the standards for general practice, facilitate lifelong learning for GPs, connect the general practice community, and advocate for better health and wellbeing for all Australians.

The Project

The RACGP is going through a large transformation to deliver profession led GP training from February 2023. The Department of Health’s Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) Program will transfer over to RACGP from nine regional training organisations and see the college grow from 500 employees to around 1300.

This is a fundamental change to the delivery of GP training in Australia, with the opportunity to improve the quality, safety, and accessibility of GP services for all Australians. We’ll build new capabilities as well as transfer capabilities from the existing Regional Training Organisations that currently provide Australian General Practice Training services. Our growing team is in the process of defining, planning, and implementing this business transformation program.

**About you**
As our,
**_Finance Analyst_**, you will assist in enabling financial integration between different business units across both Operating and Grant funded functions and help enable key financial reporting

outcomes for the College.

As a critical member of the FP&A team, you will assist in designing and maintaining tools for tracking, recording, analysing and reporting financial activities underpinned by the College’s financial systems and processes across a range of stakeholders. You possess the following qualification and experience:

- 2 years + experience in an FP&A function or similar role
- Qualified or working towards CA, CPA
- Relevant Degree/Tertiary education in Finance or Accounting
- Budgeting, forecasting and management reporting experience
- Data analysis using data sets from multiple systems
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work proactively, prioritise work and to meet deadlines.
- Stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Microsoft suite skills - Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

**About the opportunity**
Reporting to the
**_ Senior Finance Business Partner (FBP), _**you will:

- Support the Senior FBP, Head of FP&A and other key members of the FP&A and Financial Control teams in analysing and reporting on transactional activities of the College.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of financial schedules and monitoring tools supporting a range of activities within the College operating and grant funded functions.
- Prepare, execute and consolidate cost allocations and cost movements across relevant College Business Units.
- Assist with monthly financial reporting, building of budgets and costing models.
- Assist in the documentation of key finance policies, processes, and process improvements relevant to the FP&A function.
- Assist in the development and implementation of business cases and project performance reporting.
- Create business partnerships across RACGP both directly and through cross-departmental collaboration.
- Contribute towards the overall achievement of the business KPI’s and wider finance team initiatives.
