**About the role**

The National Heavy Vehicle Regulator’s (NHVR) Prosecution Team is a high performing group of in-house lawyers who prosecute and defend NHVR, South Australia Police and Victoria Police cases in court, and provide legal advice to those agencies across the Heavy Vehicle National Law.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced paralegal officer to join our team. The role provides critical administration support to Principal Prosecutors and the broader team. You will be responsible for evidence review, drafting documents, preparing court paperwork and assisting other senior staff.

**About You**

Whether it be reviewing legal documents, preparing legal research, compiling reports, data entry into the case management system and drafting correspondence, you will execute tasks with a strong attention to detail and thrive working in a challenging role.

With great interpersonal and communication skills you will have the ability to deliver a high standard of customer service for internal and external stakeholders.

The role is fluid in nature and the key challenge is managing competing priorities. To be successful in the role, you will be able to demonstrate initiative, working autonomously, and meeting deadlines with high level organisational skills.
