**The Role - Business Development Representative (Sydney office)**

**Responsibilities**:
As a BDR you will be responsible for providing accurate sales intelligence and setting up qualified discovery calls with prospective accounts in support of AMCS Account Executives.
- Establish contact and relationships with inbound leads generated by Marketing.
- Qualify inbound leads using BANT criteria.
- Execute outbound campaigns and develop leads through prospecting, research, needs analysis and defining requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with Director, VP, and CXO level contacts in target accounts
- Build a database of decision makers, buyers, and influencers within target accounts.
- Handover qualified leads to assigned Sales Representatives
- Strategically cover assigned territory to accelerate the sales funnel and improve market coverage
- Meet and exceed performance goals
- Achieve quarterly personal discovery call setting objectives.

**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in business/sales development
- Excellent communication skills (active listening, written, verbal and presentation)
- Experience in research, cold-calling and qualifying prospects
- Develop relationships over the phone and other outbound communication to move the prospect through the qualification process.
- Experience working in a work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Ability to articulate complex technology concepts to a technical and non-technical audience
- Self-motivated and hunter mentality
- Strong attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task
- Experience working in a work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Basic understanding of SaaS industry
